Project-44 goes beyond the walls of the church to serve people where they are. Today that means two things: a car ministry in Fort Worth, and a vocational trade school taking shape in Liberia.
Why “44”
The 44th book of the Bible is Acts.
Acts 2:42-47 describes the early church as a community rooted in the teachings of Jesus that used its resources to help those in need. We attempt to live out that same model through our ministries and outreach.
What began in 2008 as one mechanic quietly fixing up donated cars has grown into a small organization with a long reach.

Liberia Trade School
The wall is up. The hard work is just beginning.
Most Liberian children can attend school through the 6th grade. Beyond that there is no guarantee. Our mission is to make training in practical trades readily available to the people of the region. Since their first visit in 2014, Ben and Margret Fields have made a trade school there a top priority.
A parcel of 150 acres has been purchased in Kakata. A wall enclosing the school site is in place and a preliminary master plan is complete.
